OUR STORY

VILLETTE was born of a personal desire to create one of a kind clutches. Each bag shares a point of view and in doing so, conveys a singular story. I believe in creating heirloom quality products that are also unique, and reflective of the individual carrying them. Each clutch is constructed of vintage textiles that I have sourced, collected and designed. Signed and numbered, they are all proudly produced in the U.S.A.

This brand is for women who want beautiful, handmade, one of a kind accessories. It is for women who wish to be unlike anyone else.

VILLETTE is the original version of my maiden name, Willits.

Incorporating VILLETTE as the brand name is my way of connecting the past to the present. There is an old-world element to my work; sourcing vintage and antique textiles, as well as the construction of the clutches themselves.

The contemporary and utilitarian clutch shape speaks to functionality. Both aspects refer to my love of the traditional as well as the avant-garde. Thank you for visiting VILLETTE.
